The new Clear anti-dandruff shampoo with Nutrium 10 was launched in India yesterday at an event held in Mumbai. The new shampoo was launched by Mr Rajnikant Sabnavis, Regional Category Vice President - Hair, South Asia, Unilever, Ms Meena Rajan, R&D Director - Hair, South Asia, Unilever and Mr Piyush Jain, General Manager, Hair care, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL). Also present was Dr Aparna Santhanam, Consulting dermatologist and cosmetologist who shared a holistic approach on dandruff and scalp health.
On the launch, Mr Jain said, “Scientists and experts at Unilever are constantly working to develop new, innovative technologies and products that will provide the best solutions to our consumers. Nutrium 10 is a technology that took years in the making and is a part of CLEAR’s mission to deliver the most effective anti-dandruff shampoo for healthy scalp and hair.”
“During our tests and clinical research at the CLEAR Paris Institute, it became apparent that male and female scalps had physiological differences. Male scalps are typically weaker, produce more sebum and are more prone to dandruff, while female scalps are more prone to chemical residues and tension. Keeping this at the forefront during development, new CLEAR anti dandruff shampoo is the solution to better scalp, hair and life for those with dandruff in India today,” Ms Rajan added.
New Clear anti-dandruff shampoo is available in seven variants with separate formulations for men and women.
