Pain-free fat reduction

If you are looking at losing that excess weight, which refuses to go away despite exercising and dieting, i-Lipo claims to be a non-invasive method to help you do so

Touted as one of the best non-invasive, inch-loss technologies, i-Lipo is an intelligent alternative for those who are contemplating undergoing liposuction. After successfully undergoing the treatment Ritika (name changed on request) says, “Post my delivery, it I found it difficult to lose the fat around my tummy. I was tired of dieting and working out, especially since I didn’t lose the inches around my stomach, though I lost in weight. I knew I needed something extra and hence, thought of trying i-Lipo.

What is i-Lipo?
Dr Abhijit Desai, MD, Makeover Expert, Evolve Medspa says, “i-Lipo is a non-surgical laser lipolysis treatment to reduce unwanted excess fat.” By using low intensity lasers, triglycerides are released from the fat cells and are discharged through the natural metabolic system of the body. Dr Desai explains, “The laser targets fat cells in the area where one wants to lose fat to make them release fat. This fat in the form of free fatty acids via the lymphatic drainage comes in to circulation, which then needs to be burnt out to get the desired results.”

Talking about her experience, Nambiar says, “The session was over in 40 minutes, without any pain, marks or cuts. A nutritionist took care of my diet, and post the session all I had to do was walk for a while.” Speaking more on the need to diet and exercise before and post the procedure, Dr Desai inform, “One should not eat a heavy meal 30 minutes before or 2 hours after the procedure. However, they need to exercise within 5 hours post the procedure. Though there are no restrictions on diet and physical activity, one should eat healthy food in the right quantity and maintain a good physical cardio activity.”

Who can undergo this procedure?
You can consider this option if you are looking for a non-surgical option to lose fat quickly, if it is difficult to do so only through dieting and exercising.

Who should avoid the procedure?
People who are pregnant or breast feeding should avoid this procedure. In case you have diabetes, high blood pressure or suffer from cardiac problems, you will need to take clearance from your doctor.
