Body
Fitness – “Fitness means good stamina, living life with vigour, the ability to handle situations with a positive attitude and not essentially having a perfect body. Since the age of 16, I have been regular with my exercise regime. I am particular about my exercise regime and jog 5 kilometres every morning. Jogging is an excellent cardio exercise and helps one burn fat and build stamina. I also weight train and am currently learning martial arts. I enjoy outdoor sports especially cricket and football along with trekking and mountaineering.
Diet – “I follow a high fibre, high protein and low carb diet. I start my day with a cup of black coffee, followed by oatmeal, milk and fruits. Lunch includes whey protein, chicken, mashed potatoes and salad. I avoid rice and rotis. In the evenings, I eat digestive biscuits and a protein shake. Dinner is soup, four boiled eggs, khakras and curd. I have yoghurt twice a day as it’s an excellent source of protein, calcium, and vitamin B12.
Mind
I feel relaxed amidst nature be it the mountains or beaches. Exercise helps me de stress. I am learning guitar, which is great fun. Meditation helps me calm down and focus better. I try and meditate daily.
Spirit
I believe in one God and am spiritual. I believe hell and heaven are all here. Mental peace and contentment can make our life a loving experience. I like people with a positive frame of mind. I believe in Buddha’s teachings that ‘Desire is the root cause of all evil’. Two books that have inspired me are The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and The Laws of the Spirit World by Khorshed Bhavnagri.
My motto is –Attitude is everything that matters, with a positive attitude you can lead a better life.”
