Fitness – “Fitness means looking and feeling good, eating healthy and exercising regularly. Being fit makes one positive in life.
I exercise six days a week for an hour and it’s a combination of weight training, cardio and functional training. I am fond of walking but currently do not get the time for it. I also swim whenever possible as it’s an excellent cardio exercise and helps in building ones stamina.
Diet – I am a non-vegetarian and eat healthy food most of the time. I prefer eating homemade food and avoid eating out. I start my day with a glass of coconut water as it helps ones immune system and raises metabolism. Breakfast is baked beans, egg whites, bread and an apple. After the gym, I have some dry fruits and a protein shake. For lunch I have grilled or boiled chicken, dal, roti and sabzi. In the evenings I have chicken sandwich and fresh orange juice. For dinner, I have grilled fish. I am fond of eating sweets but n small portion. on Sundays I treat myself with desserts.
Mind
I live in the present, if one worries about the future then one will be stressed. I feel if one can control their mind and think positively, life will be much better. I am trying my best to do so. Learning to win in life includes harnessing the power of the moment, for it is in the moment that the power lies. I love playing golf and am fond of reading biographies.
Spirit
I believe in God and am religious. I pray every morning. Every Tuesdays I go to Siddhivinayak temple. For me spirituality means to connect with one own self; its means being aware and sensitive. I have been greatly influenced by The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and also Osho’s Zen Phiolosphy.”
