Fitness – “Fitness is a way of life. One has to be aware of the fact that he or she needs to practice certain do's and don’ts. Ignorance and letting go completely makes one totally out of shape and leads to obesity. Maintaining a healthy body weight with exercise and at the same time enjoying life by sometimes indulging in rich food is perfectly alright.
I jog or swim for around four days a week. I love swimming. It is an excellent aerobic workout. I enjoy dancing; hence at times I sweat it out by playing music and dancing.
Diet – “I have turned vegetarian and eat healthy food at regular intervals. I keep sipping on green tea during the day. In the morning I have a cup of tea and two biscuits. My lunch and dinner is usually dal, rotis and vegetables. I ensure I have one green vegetable daily. In the evenings I have dry fruits and biscuits. I avoid eating cold stuff and fried food.
Mind
Talking to my sister is as good as talking to a shrink as she understands and guides me. I party or watch movies with friends as it helps me unwind. I also enjoy cooking. I'm very emotional and impulsive in nature and have realised that it is important to calm down when stressed rather than panic.
Spirit
Spirituality helps me throw away a lot of negativity. I'm a strong believer in God and believe in the theory of karma. Vrindavan and Shirdi give me peace. I believe in every religion therefore I visit the dargah, church and gurudwara also. When I sing a raga or any bhakti geet I feel very close to God and probably that's when the windows of my subconscious open.
