“Fitness is not merely one hour of exercise, it’s the way one lives which includes ones dietary habits and the way one relaxes and overall mental well being leading each day with positive attitude.

Exercise

I do workouts three times a week that includes 30 minutes of cardio training and 45 minutes of weight training. I also try and practise yoga regularly. Yoga is great for overall health! It not only helps the body and increases stamina but also brings peace to the mind. I also go for brisk walks at night usually with my pet dog.

Diet

I consciously avoid fried stuff and aerated drinks. I drink lots of water. It not only flushes out the toxins, but also makes my skin glow. I sip green herbal tea two to three times in a day. My breakfast consists of cereals, milk, eggs, oatmeal, fruit and yoghurt. Lunch is usually home cooked food like chapattis, fish curry and salad. For dinner, I prefer light home cooked food.

Mind

I like to read books and watch movies.Once in a while, I enjoy taking a relaxing massage and indulging in spa treatments. I believe that cleanliness is next to Godliness, so I am very particular about keeping my home clean. I also find it very important to keep my mind free of negative thoughts.

Spirituality

Spirituality has different meanings for everyone. For me, it means doing ones work with total dedication and feeling satisfied with what one is doing. It also means being peace with oneself and also being thankful to the supreme power. Our body is the temple to our soul, one must keep it clean, fit and strong and pure with healthy food and workout. One must take good care of the body. It's the only place you have to live.

The books that have inspired me are ‘The Celestine Prophecy’ by James Redfield and ‘The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho. My motto is live life to the fullest, but be a responsible person and do your duty."
