“One has to exercise regularly and put in some effort to be in peak of health. To be fit means to have a healthy body and healthy mind; one’s health is the biggest trump card to deal with anything and everything in life.

I exercise regularly for five days a week and take a break only when I am very tired. It’s important to listen to the body and rest if one is tired. I do some cardio weight training at the gym regularly. I focus on one part of my body everyday like my back, legs and so on; thus giving my muscles enough time to relax after working out.

Diet

I eat in moderation. My mantra is simple: do not over eat or starve yourself. I like gulab jamuns, so if it’s there at home I will eat little bit for sure. Once in a while I eat panipuri and ice creams. I don’t deprive myself.

I start my day with two spoons of honey, chawayanprash, and three bananas and a protein milkshake. For brunch, I eat a big bowl of fruits, I love all the fruits. I prefer home made food and even when I am shooting I pack lunch from home. Lunch is simple with dal, rotis and chicken and salad. I have only one cup of tea during the day. Dinner is mostly kebabs.

Mind

I prefer to spend one day of the week not working and that helps me to relax. I enjoy spending time with my wife watching movies and listening to music. I enjoy spending time with family and friends too. I have currently started enjoying badminton and it is very relaxing sport.

Spirituality

I believe in a supreme power. My wife and I thank God for everything that we are blessed with. I feel spirituality too knows your conscience, being human one might err but to realise ones mistake is also important.

It’s important not to give up in life. Be optimistic. No matter how dark things may seem, one has to know that there’s always a bright side to look at; we only have to find it. I believe in a simple motto – Conceive, Believe and Achieve”.
