Aryanish Patel's Mindbridge's workshops for children and adults with learning disabilities

Posted On Sunday, March 07, 2010

When your child's needs and behaviour are a little different from others and he/she requires special attention, you may not know how, exactly, to deal with him/her. Aryanish Patel has developed a special correction programme for children who suffer from dyslexia. Aryanish. born dyslexic herself, worked hard to over come and then trained at the Davis Learning techniques in the UK. Today, some of the students who have trained under her score among the top ten rankers of their school.

Being a part of the solution, not part of the problem

Most dyslexics and people with learning disabilities face daily difficulties in their classrooms or work environment. This predisposes them into thinking that they are a ‘problem’. The fact of the matter is that, dyslexics and other children with learning disabilities just happen to have a different way of learning – one that does not conform to the read / rote methods. Being visual in their cognition mars their reading experience and this leads them into a vortex of emotional problems.

The programme comprises workshops for the duration of 60 minutes each.
