Loose something to gain something

Are you falling prey to the things that are robbing you of your happiness and health? Life coach Reshma Kalwani lists things that you should bid an immediate goodbye to

Fear:
Broaden your perspective by realising you have choices. Only if you seek solutions will you find answers to your problems.

Control:
Control is our attachment to a specific outcome, the root of all suffering. Release your attachment to people, places and things. Say to yourself, “I release control over outcomes. I trust I am safe and my needs will be met.” Cultivate a relationship with the power within you instead.

Low self-esteem:
Low self-esteem pulls you down from living your life to your full potential. Understand yourself and look into your beliefs and your thoughts. Transform them so that they heal and empower you.

Negative words and thoughts:

Words and thoughts that are negative affect the subconscious mind and lead to negative emotions. Avoid them like the plague.

Negative emotions:
Emotions like hatred, guilt, blame, shame and jealousy must be released daily.  Recognise that you are feeling these emotions, and then release them by saying – “I forgive myself and all those who have contributed to these emotions.”

Indecisiveness:
This habit needs to be broken right away. Be decisive by thinking in black and white terms and not grey. This affects creative energy.

Problems:
Delete this from your dictionary forever. Replace it with “solutions to seek”. So now you have solutions to seek rather than problems! Ask yourself what you can do at this moment to improve the situation.

Constant activity:
Stop from time to time during the day to tap into the power within you. Drawing from this energy rejuvenates your body and mind. It allows you to access your intuition and inner guidance. People work endlessly, gain material wealth, but lose out on health and happiness. Find a balance.

Need for approval:
Don’t look for approval outside. Build trust and faith in yourself and know that you can handle any situation. You can create any ability or skill to get you through anything in life. Say to yourself: “I can! I can! I can!”

Being selfish:
Focusing on giving less to others drains you. It affects the flow of abundance in your life. Give what you want more of. Know there is plenty for everyone.
