Three ways to.. break a bad habit

Have bad habits that you are planning to get rid of for the upcoming New Year? Here are three simple steps that will guide you

  1. Have a plan. Work out how you’re going to do it and set a deadline. And rope in friends to help you stick to it. If you’re trying to quit smoking, make sure your mates know so they don’t offer you one.


  2. Adopt a new ‘good’ habit to replace the bad one. Soon it’ll become second nature.

  3. Don’t attempt to kick too many bad habits at the same time. Start with the worst one, then tackle the others in time. And don’t beat yourself up if you fall off the wagon – just get back on it!
