No matter how organised you are, how good your system is, or how friendly your work and living environments are, you still get stressed.
What can you do?
Turn to a convenient stress buster – small, simple activities that clear your head and calm you down.
Here are some of our favourite stress busters:
Take a walk
Walking will give you the opportunity to clear your head and take a break from a hectic situation.
Call a friend
We all have someone whose voice alone can perk us up. Give them a call. Whether with a joke or a funny story, or just by listening, they are likely to calm you down.
Write in a journal
Expressing our feelings could be the best way to deal with stress. Keeping a journal is a way to capture those feelings at any moment. By the time you’re done, those feelings will be on their way out of your system.
Work up a sweat
There’s no better way to get rid of pent up frustrations than by exercising.
Plan something fun
This will help you take your mind off things, along with making you eagerly anticipate a great getaway or meal later.
Take a bath
A bath will initially give your body a kick, which will in turn relax your mind.
