The Cardiac Support Group is an independent group which is led and driven by cardiac patients. While some are patients of The Asian Heart Institute, its sponsor, many in the group are from other hospitals. The AHI provides the logistical support that enables the group to function.
The support group meets regularly every month and there are talks organised on topics of group interest by eminent practitioners in the medical field.
